Flourishing Ferguson will work to acquire and collaborate on developing unusable spaces into a variety of native pollination meadows and additional multipurpose spaces. We will also be securing renewable funding sources to maintain the spaces for longterm success. A key qualification is that each site has a multi-year commitment to prevent sites from falling back into neglect. Reduction of maintenance will lessen the citizens’ burden in taxation by limiting the amount of time and resources spent by the city.
