An organized effort to improve our community through communication, resources, and projects creating health, equity, and better quality of life for all Ferguson residents.
The City of Ferguson is severely understaffed and needs help addressing issues in our community. Innovative solutions, such as collaboration between our police department and local programs, can help us break the cycle of crime and poverty. We must continue to pursue out-of-the-box thinking to ensure citizens have access to resources and feel safe to shop at our businesses, walk our neighborhoods, and let their children play in our parks.
Ferguson is in need of economic revitalization. Flourishing Ferguson works to gather and distribute valuable resources that new businesses owners would need to get a jumpstart on their marketing and future success. With Ferguson's affordable properties, convenient location, and abundant natural spaces, our town should be seen as the perfect opportunity for investment and long-term business collaborations.
When people visit Ferguson for the first time, they are often surprised by two things- our beautiful green spaces, and the charm of our homes. These are a part of what makes Ferguson unique, and we as a town can market that to benefit all our residents. Creating more paths to homeownership and programs to maintain homeownership will help residents build equity. This also includes education, grants, and partnerships with local community organizations to help those who struggle to maintain their properties.
